Over the past few days, students in Mr. Heater's WV History class were given the task to research West Virginia land battles of the Civil War. Students were required to create a map of one of the battles and chart the path of both the confederate and union troops. Once the students created the map, they worked with Mrs. Skidmore to learn about designing and printing 3D models with our new Flashforge 3D Printers to add dimensions to their maps. Students were then required to program at least two robots to represent both Union and Confederate troop motion. Once completed, students created a presentation with iMovie to summarize what they learned and showcase their hard work.
