Each year 8th Grade students sit down to show what they have learned about our wonderful state by taking the Golden Horseshoe test. The Golden Horseshoe test has been administer in West Virginia each year since 1931. Top Scoring students in each county receive the prestigious award and are inducted as "Knights" of the Golden Horseshoe. Today Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School would like to congratulate Johnny Chen, Landon Beaudry, Xavier Robinette, and Zethyn Wiseman on being named the newest Knights of the Golden Horseshoe.
