Students at Buckhannon- Upshur Middle School created ornaments based on assignments performed within the classroom. We invited the community to participate and were excited that children that attend Tennerton Tots Childcare Center created ornaments as well. Mrs. Wooten read the novel," The Giver" and students showed their artwork by creating tree ornaments in Ms. Murray's class. Mrs.Sigga-Walker's and Mrs. Zirkle's classroom created math ornaments. We appreciate the artistic abilities and knowledge performances from both students and teachers. Great things are happening here at B- UMS! We would like to thank French Creek Christmas Trees for donating their beautiful white pines. All the Agriculture classes were educated on the Christmas Tree Tradition , trees are recyclable, and the selecting and care for a real tree. After the use of the trees, B-UMS plans to recycle the trees within our local community.
