Hello B‑UMS Families!
It’s hard to believe how quickly this school year is flying by! As we head into spring, it’s almost time for our students to shine during State Testing, which will take place April 27–May 8 2026
This is the moment our Buccaneers get to show off all the hard work they’ve been doing all year—our teachers have been giving their best, and our students have been growing, learning, and preparing for success!
📅 Attendance Matters
To help your child feel confident and ready, we kindly ask that families do everything possible to ensure students are present and on time during these testing weeks.
Because testing takes place in a secure environment, students cannot be dropped off late or picked up early without disrupting the testing protocol.
📵 A Note About Devices
All electronic devices—including smartphones and smartwatches—must remain outside the testing environment.
This is a perfect opportunity to leave those gadgets at home!
If a device is found during testing, it will be collected and may need to be held for an extended period of time, per state guidelines.
💻 Want to Try the Test Yourself?

Thank you for partnering with us! With your support, our amazing students will be ready to show what they know. We’re proud of our Buccaneers and excited to see them shine!
