The updated flex practice/conditioning days are as follows:
June 10 & 13 @ River Walk 6:00 PM
June 24 & 26 @ BUHS 8:00 AM
July 8 & 10 @ BUHS 8:00 AM
July 21-25 @ BUHS 8:00 AM
First official practice is August 4.
You must have a sports physical dated after May 1, 2025 to participate.

A huge THANK YOU to the WV Department of Tourism for their generous field trip grant and to Mrs. Heater for her hard work in securing it! 🎉 Thanks to their efforts, our 6th grade Teal Sharks Team had the incredible opportunity to visit The Greenbrier this week! 🏰
Our students embarked on a fascinating history tour of The Greenbrier and had an absolutely fabulous time! 🕵️♂️✨ What a wonderful learning experience for everyone involved! 🌟

❗️B-UMS Volleyball Flex Practice Announcement❗️🏴☠️🏐 For incoming 6th, 7th, & 8th graders, summer flex practice dates are as follows: June 16-18, June 23-26, July 7-10, July 15-17, July 22-24, July 28-31, & August 4-7 from 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM @ B-UMS. Tryouts will be August 11. Current 6th & 7th graders that are interested were given a paper with additional information. If you did not hear the announcement or were absent, please see Coach Mouser or Coach Brown. This paper will be sent to all elementary schools for current 5th graders that are interested. Please have a sports physical dated after May 1, 2025 by the first practice. You can make an appointment at Community Care if you have not already done so.
❗️B-UMS Girls Soccer Announcement❗️⚽️🏴☠️ There will be voluntary flex practices for current 6th & 7th graders on May 26 - May 30 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ B-UMS. Current 5th graders cannot participate until June 9. Your 2024-2025 sports physical will still be valid for these practices if you have not already got one for the 2025-2026 school year.
Congratulations to B-UMS Girls Track athletes Ella Whitehair and Hayden Anderson!!! In the first ever West Virginia Middle School State Track meet, Ella finished 2nd in the 800m and 3rd in the 3200m. Hayden finished 3rd in the high jump. Great job, ladies! 🏃♀️🏴☠️
Congratulations to our B-UMS Girls Lacrosse Team! Yesterday, they won the State Championship against Morgantown by a score of 4-3!!! 🥍🏴☠️🏆
Congratulations to our B-UMS Softball Team! This past Saturday, they won the Mid Mountain 10 Conference Championship against Robert L Bland by a score of 9-3. They finished the season with a 17-1 record!!! 🥎🏴☠️🏆
It's been a week filled with Strawberry-palooza eats at B-UMS! We have a great kitchen staff!!!!

This weekend, our band and choir showcased their talents at the Music in the Parks Festival at Kennywood! The choir earned 1st Place in their division with an impressive 98% “Superior” rating, while the band also claimed 1st in their division and overall with an 84% “Excellent” rating! 🎉
We are incredibly proud of our dedicated music department and the outstanding students who continually strive for excellence in their art. We hope they cherished their well-deserved day at the park! 💙🤍
