WV Prevention Solutions is holding another focus group in Upshur County to discuss barriers to youth engagement with the parents/legal guardians of middle and high school students. Each participant will be paid $50 for the two-hour group. The focus group will be held at the Orion Strategies office at 33 W. Main Street, Buckhannon on Feb. 6 from 6-8 p.m. RSVPs are required as space is limited. Please RSVP by calling 304-982-8330 or by emailing research@orion-strategies.com.

If the dropping temperatures and snowy weather are bringing you down, then we have just the event to brighten your day and warm you up! B-UMS parents and students please join us for an evening of delicious (and warm) soup preparation. We will be preparing several different soup recipes that are simple and cost effective so that your middle school student and family can easily make them again at home. This B-UMS family event will take place on Thursday, January 30th from 4:00-6:30 pm at B-UMS in the cafeteria and kitchen.
