BUMS 8th graders - please take a few minutes to complete the Empowerment Academy survey on Schoology. It is important that you participate.
Softball meeting next Wednesday March 3rd @ 6:30 in the cafeteria for any girl interested in playing softball- parents are to attend too.
BUMS families- A great fun learning activity will be starting at our school. Check out Schoology ( IDEA Lab) and/signs through the school for all the information about Digital Learning Day. It is open to all students from Feb 25 to March 8. Great prizes too!
BUMS families - All of us at the middle school love and care about your children. We know you love them also. So, PLEASE, use only the parking lot by the gym for morning drop off and after school pick up. It is for the safety and well-being of the students.
Make up pictures will be held on February 22nd and 23rd from 12:00-1:00.
Sports photos will be at 2:00 on the 22nd.
BUMS families - Our 8th grade students are expected to complete a short survey during their WVStudies class this week. It is an important survey about our Empowerment Academy, career classes and project based learning. Thank you students for completing. Also, there is a survey on BUMS website for Fully Remote Students. Lastly, please use only the lot beside the gym for student drop off and pick up for before and after school. BUMS families - This week we acknowledged and honored our two awesome school counselors for all they do for our students, staff, and families. Mrs Zickefoose & Mrs Pavlic are two of the best who help your children with all things “ great and small”. We love them! Thank you ladies. Also, we recognized several hundred students who are doing such great things each day at BUMS. More than 25% have had fewer than five missing assignments since the beginning of school. Each day, we do daily “shout outs” to dozens of our students. What a great way to finish our school day! Yah Darlin!

BUMS families & staff - Our BUMS family is mourning the loss of a student. We know this is an extremely difficult time for everyone and want to offer our assistance in dealing with the grief. Counselors are available today, Wednesday, January 27, at BUMS to meet with students and families who need extra support. Food Box Distribution will be held at the Tennerton Warehouse today, December 30th, from 12:00-2:00pm. All Upshur County families may pick-up boxes at this location.
