Students in Mrs. Hardy and Ms. Tomblyn's classes participated in the West Virginia Strawberry Festival's annual essay contest. The winners are Hanna Harper (8th grade) and Gabriella Mullens (seventh grade). Their essays will be published in The Record Delta in May. Congratulations!

Then join us on Thursday, April 7 anytime from 5:00-6:30 pm at B-UHS. The CTE teachers will be available to discuss their programs. October 25th kicks off Red Ribbon Week at B-UMS!

Welcome to the Energy Kick Off!
8th Grade students had a wonderful experience yesterday at their Energy Project Kick-off. Professionals in the fields of Energy, Coal, Oil and Gas, and Forest Management were invited to speak to our Team students about how they manage natural resources and about their career path. As part of their investigation, students will create a psa/pamphlet, Solar Car or Windmill model, a map of West Virginia, as well as learning about the historical resources of the Mountain State.
